Mississippi Assessment 2004 Goal:  To provide a "snapshot" assessment of any invasive species present in Mississippi Sound and adjacent estuarine waters, and to determine the degree and extent of presence and establishment of any invasive species documented. The rapid assessment approach is designed to function as an indicator for further research or immediate management decisions.
