Spooktacular 2005
Spooktacular
2004
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
WE HAD A FRIGHTFULLY FUN EVENING AND HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE AGAIN NEXT
YEAR!
Friday, October 29,
2004 The Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation is once again hosting a fun-filled family oriented Halloween event, “Spooktacular 2004 Experiments Gone Wild!” After evaluating the damage of hurricane Ivan, the event organizers decided the thrills must go on. The community carnival will be held during a haunting of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Estuarium on October 29, 2004 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Organizers decided the community needed to enjoy a light-hearted evening of games, food, and experiments gone wild within the Estuarium. Hundreds of people enjoyed the spooky spectacular event last year. While entertaining kids and adults alike the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation hopes to raise funding and awareness for marine science education. The Foundation supports the Dauphin Island Sea Lab which has a long and unique history of providing cutting edge research and science education for students from kindergarten through the doctoral level. Researchers, students, and area businesses are coming together to create an evening of thrills, chills, and silly science. Activities include freaky creations, glowing sea creatures, prizes, and more. Come see what has gone wild in the Estuarium! Maybe you? Sample Activities For more information
