Nominee applies or promotes sound principles of soil, water, and general environmental conservation. Nominee management practices result in improved environmental conditions and enhanced biodiversity. Nominee activities promote or provide for conservation and care of unique natural and cultural resources. Nominee provides good integration of traditional best management practices with wildlife habitat enhancement to produce multiple benefits. Nominee practices or promotes integrated land use management. Nominee encourages community involvement in the conservation of living resource habitat in the Mobile Bay Estuarine System. Nominee acts as a good example to others and actively promotes responsible habitat management and estuarine stewardship. Nominee promotes substantial outdoor recreational or educational opportunities for the benefit of living resources through programs, organizations or volunteerism. Nominee incorporates innovative techniques of estuarine conservation into overall management scheme. Please supply supporting documentation, maximum of ten pages, describing the successes of the nominee. Package must include the following form. All criteria may not necessarily apply to each nominee.
