Michael is Program Manager and is responsible for Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP) development and implementation and the building and management of partnerships with Mobile Bay stakeholders through the Management Conference.

He is a graduate of Auburn University where obtained a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and Johns Hopkins University where he received a M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Policy. Particular areas of interest include protection of aquifers and wetlands, integrated watershed management, and improving communities through green infrastructure.

He resides in Mobile after living in Baltimore where he managed funding and financing for Maryland for restoration of the Chesapeake Bay. He previously managed funding and financing for Georgia for water quality infrastructure and conservation of longleaf pine forests and cypress swamps along the Altamaha River.

Michael enjoys art, gardening, historic preservation, fly fishing for redfish and tarpon, and in general spending as much time on the water as possible.
