Student Conservation Association is now hiring!

Are you a young person who loves working outdoors looking for a great job this fall or know someone who is? The Student Conservation Association is now hiring crew leaders and crew members for its GulfCorps Program based in Mobile, AL. These paid positions provide great experience for adults (18+ years old) who are interested in an environmental career, love hands-on outdoor work, or are eager to gain field experience. Crew Leader Position:
Seasonal position, Sept - Mar 2022. Apply by July 12, 202. Our crew leaders have strong conservation work skills, specifically related to invasive plant treatment, trail maintenance, boardwalk construction, chainsaw, and carpentry; strong project monitoring and data collection skills, specifically using GIS/GPS; and experience managing teams of at-risk youth or young adults [18+] in an outdoor setting. Crew Member Position:
Seasonal position, Sept - Mar 2022. Apply by July 30, 2021. Our crew members don’t need any previous experience. As long as you have a passion for the outdoors, are interested in pursuing a career in the environmental field, and are a hard worker, you’ll be a great fit for our program!
